Lord of the flies post 11

Lord of the Flies
Chapter 11

1. Piggy tells Ralph to bring it to castle rock, to where jacks tribe is. He wanted to bring it because thats something tha jack doesn't have, and he could go up there and announce that.
2. The reason Piggy has to get his glasses back is that it is the right thing to do, and its a good thing to do. He thinks that Jack will give him his glasses because he wants to not because he needs to.
3. When Ralph and his group arrive at castle rock, they want to look clean, propper, and well mannored. This is so Jack will be impressed that they took the time to shower, or bathe and wash up in general. Plus to show them how civilized, and humane they are.
4. When the boys approach castle rock Roger stops them, and asks themwho they are, and why they are there. Ralphs finds this strange because they're the only others on the island.
5. Once the hunters let Ralph, and his group in Jack is nowhere to be seen. The hunters tell them that he is hunting and that they will have to wait. Finally he appears with a dead sow, and face paint on, so he was out hunting.
6. Because Jack took piggy's glasses and all chance of survival practilly, Ralph calls him a thief, and Jack begins to poke and stab at Ralph who also has a spear.
7. After the fight Jack tells his group to catch Samneric, and they were very hessitant but did it anyway. Then ordered them to tie Samneric up, and make them work for the hunters.
8. During Piggy's plea Roger is putting all of his wieght on a lever that will eventually push a giant bolder off of the mountain.

9. I feel that it's Roger's fault, because he did it, maybe he didn't mean to, but he did it. But then again in the begginning of the book Roger would never had done that, something made him change his ways. You could trace it back farther to Jack, because if he wouldn't of made his own tribe, with no rules, Roger wouldn't have become evil. He wouldn't have become evil because he would have some sort of rules to contain him. If you go even farther than that, it's pur evil, becausethat is what made Jack become evil, and Roger. Mainly it is Roger though because no one told him to do it, it was on his own accord, whether he wanted to kill piggy is unclear. In the end it is evil, which is what the author, William Golding said, that we are all evil.
