School has just started again and this year scout, my younger sister will join me. I know she will do well, she reads better than I do, by a lot. But even though I am excited for school, the Radley’s place still scares me. I have always been scared of that place, everyone has. Just a few days ago a new kid that people call Dill dared me to get him out. Boo Radley. He’s been in his house since I can remember. I didn’t want to, I didn’t really chicken out, it was just violating his space. The reason I am scared of his house is because it is next to my school. Someday I would like to actually get him out of his house. I don’t really like Dill, if he’s so interested in the Radley’s place, then why doesn’t he go ring his doorbell. Plus he’s constantly bragging that he can read. Well, my sister can read twice as well as him, and she’s almost half of his age. But we have fun occasionally, and scout kind of likes him. Dill only comes every summer, and is very small for his age. After my sisters first day of school I could see that it didn’t go well. I overheard her say something about not being able to read or something. Her teacher is trying a new method, and is new around here. My sister will probably figure it out, and befriend her teacher.
