Chapter 5 - Beast from water

The assembly was called because our rules were being broken, and not followed. It was mainly because Jack had forgotten to keep the fire going, and now since that behavier the littluns are learning from him. Some rules Ralph mentioned were: one, where to use the bathroom, two, to keep the fire going, and threenot to go out in the dark alone. I followed all of the concerns but one, yes I did go into the trees at night, I just needed to get away from everyone, I wont do it again. Things are really falling apart here, No ones following the rules, and worst of all Jack is being a bad role model. He is speaking without having the conch, interupting, being mean to Piggy, and saying that Ralphs rules are stupid. The littleones cry in their sleep for two reasons, one, because they miss their parents, their family, their house, mostly England in general. Reason two is that they're scared, maybe of the beastie, maybe just of the dark, or other things little kids are scared about. The scariest thing was when Percival tried to speak in the meeting. Firstly he was frightened to even get up there, also when he was asked his name and everyone started chanting he really got scared. Then he just outbursted his first, last, and middle name, adress, and phone number.The dirtiest thing about human nature, is that we destroy, were all evil. When we are apart of society with some sort of rules it is concealed, but when there are no rules humans are naturally evil. Like the saying: "Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely". Iwas suggesting that if we don't have a rule system, we will become viscous, and evil, because all of us have it in us, at least in the beggining.
