Lord of the flies post 6

Lord of the Flies
Chapter 6 - Beast from Air
"there might actually be a beast"
Perspective: Piggy

The sign that came down was a grown up hanglider who landed dead on the island, with his hanglider as well. The boys weren't aware of this because it was dark, and Sam and Eric, who were by the fire didn't notice it for a while. They thought immediatly that it was a beastie for a few reasons. One because it was dark, and you couldn't really tell what it was. Two, because he was so limp that the wind was pushing his head back in borth as it blew. Sam and Eric were frightened because when they saw his head bobbing up and down like that they thought it was alive. When they started to run away, one of them was cut by a creeper, and they exagerated when re telling the story that the beastie got them. When you think about it, when they told their story, everything they said was an exageration. They describe the beast as fast, and having wings, also in general really scary. When the boys go hunt for the beast they area bit affraid, but most of them don't really expect to actually see the beast, like Ralph, but I was scared, even though they are probably exagerating. I think there may be a beast, but if there was it wouldn't be as scary as when Sam and Eric described it. I know that the boys are just exagerating because what beast can fly, swim, and walk on land without us seeing it, and without us seeing its foot prints.

You did a great job at explaining what the boys said and what actually happened. It is very detailed and was easily read. Something I would recommend is when ending your piece, make sure that you end it instead of just finishing a sentence.

I like how you explained how the boys are feeling about the beastie. I agree with Sam that is is very detailed. Maybe try to add a little more of piggy's prospective.
