Chapter 2 - Fire On The Mountain

Well from what I saw of it, it looks like somewhere I could live for a week, but I don't think we are responsible enough to live on it for over that time period. I'd say, it's in the middle of a good island and a bad one. To me the beastie is real, maybe not as scary as the little one made it sound, but it's definitely on the island, I just think its a petite snake or a pig, something that may shock a little kid. It symbolizes fear, but it doesn't scare me. Well actually to tell you the truth it does, my auntie says it's good to be scared, and cautious. My plan for being rescued is to wait till we signs of people and then try to lure them in, but until then we need to have lots of rules, and keep everyone safe. Well the thing about the fire all started when Jack had that good idea, but when fire was mentioned everyone went berserk, including stealing my glasses. They used them to start the fire, which eventually was uncontrollable, and could have burned the whole island down, plus a kid named Johny was killed in the fire. It's cause no one listens to me. Well I'm the only kid on the island with asthma, glasses and intellectual knowledge. When i go to bed each night, I'm scared, I miss my auntie, and I miss England, worst of all I'm not respected on this island, that's the worst part.
